- Ability to plan and lead intentional, skillful classes
- Capacity to teach beyond the asana, integrating breath, awareness, and philosophy

- Working knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics with an emphasis on safe and progressive movement
- Ability to offer options and scale practices to meet diverse student needs
- Clear, kind, and respectful communication

Internship Position
Our Front Desk Internship Program is a learning-based opportunity for individuals who want to deepen their understanding of yoga studio life, mindful hospitality, and community care. Interns assist teachers and support the flow of the studio during live classes, gaining hands-on experience in communication, presence, and front-of-house operations within a values-driven environment. Teachers are fully trained to manage studio operations independently, and interns are present to observe, assist, and learn rather than provide essential coverage. This time-limited internship includes a complimentary unlimited yoga membership and is ideal for someone who is passionate about yoga and curious about the behind-the-scenes rhythm of a welcoming, inclusive studio.
Responsibilities:
- Greet students with warmth, presence, and professionalism
- Assist with student check-ins using our studio software (Walla) under teacher guidance
- Support teachers during live classes with light studio duties as needed
- Observe and learn basic sales and registration processes using our POS system
- Help set up and reset the studio space before and after class (props, lighting, shared areas)
- Learn to speak authentically about our offerings and make thoughtful, values-aligned recommendations based on individual student needs
- Practice clear, kind, and respectful communication with students, teachers, and staff
- Arrive on time, stay present, and engage with curiosity as part of the learning experience
