This Thursday evening join Dr. Aria Thomé at 7 pm for an opportunity for vocal embodiment through Kirtan (a call and response) and Bhakti tradition of devotional chant. ⁠

Though originating in the Hindu tradition, Kirtan embodies many spiritual traditions. The goal of Bhakti is union and though it we embody our own voice and own sacredness becoming one not only with the Divine, but with each other.⁠

Did you know that as part of our weekly class schedule we offer a Sound Bath every Monday at 7 pm? This hour long practice is designed to bring your body and mind into a deep state of rest and healing, also known as the theta state.⁠
⁠
The theta state represents the brain wave patterns that occur right before you fall asleep at night and the drowsy state before you fully wake up (and also in deep rest like during sound baths). This is when our capacity for healing and replenishing on a cellular level occurs. ⁠
⁠
There is no movement during a sound bath, but rather we invite you to settle into support using the aid of blankets, blocks, bolsters and eye pillows for the utmost comfort. ⁠
