Makenna Perkal began her journey with yoga at Webster’s Conservatory of the Theatre Arts as a part of her acting curriculum. She immediately fell in love with the physical and spiritual healing qualities of the practice. In her short time studying yoga, she has focused her energy in learning new ways to apply yogic principles to her everyday life in order to slow and relax her mind. Balance has been the main focus of her studies and she strives to constantly find new ways to improve herself as a being in and out of her practice.
In 2015, Makenna became a RYT 200 certified trainer through the Wanderlust Teacher Training program in Austin, TX.
